Hellllooooo my Trader Joe’s loving friends!
October is FINALLY here. If you didn’t know October is my favorite month out of the whole year. Not only is it my birthday this month, but I also love everything that comes with the spookiest season.
To start off this month on the right foot, today we are reviewing TJ’s Maple & Sea Salt Kettle Corn. Now if you didn’t know, I recently got braces. You can read my blog dedicated to that experience here. With that being said, each Trader Joe’s item will now also be rated on how “braces-friendly” they are as well as taste. So let’s get started.
DISCLAIMER: ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN AND ARE NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH TRADER JOE’S IN ANY WAY. I APOLOGIZE IF YOU LOVE AN ITEM AND I DON’T. THIS POST IS NOT SPONSORED (I WISH THOUGH).
First Impression: Anyone who knows me, knows that I am OBSESSED with popcorn. This salty, buttery snack is my go-to even when I’m not watching my guilty pleasure show, Below Deck. So when I saw this beauty on the shelves in the snack section, I knew I needed to have it. In all honesty, the packaging is what caught my eye first. I opened this bag as soon as I got home and shared it with Nolan and his dad. His dad’s first words were “Oh wow, that IS good.”
Final Thoughts: I’m already on my third bag of this stuff if that tells you how good this is. The smell of sweet maple syrup meets your nose as soon as you open the bag. Trader Joe’s balanced the sweet with the salty perfectly, no piece was over-powered by either flavor. The maple glaze on the popcorn is a bit crunchy, so my fellow braces-wearers, be cautious. There seemed to be quite a bit of kernels mixed in which can cause damage to your brackets. Overall, this snack is going to be a staple in our cupboards as long as I can find it at my local Trader Joe’s.
Will you be picking up Maple & Sea Salt Kettle Corn on your next trip to Trader Joe’s? Let me know in a comment below.
Until next time my TJ enthusiasts…
